Responsibilities

  • Teaching and Instruction
  • Deliver engaging and effective lectures, seminars, and laboratory sessions in computing and related subjects.
  • Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and exams, ensuring alignment with HEC and NCEAC standards.
  • Supervise undergraduate and graduate student projects, theses, and dissertations.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students, fostering their academic and professional growth.
  • Research
  • Conduct high-quality research in computing and publish findings in reputable journals and conferences.
  • Seek external funding for research projects through grants and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners on innovative research initiatives.
  • Administration
  • Participate actively in departmental and institutional committees and meetings.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, program review, and accreditation processes.
  • Engage in community outreach and service activities to promote the institution's mission and vision.
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned by the department chair or management.
  • Industry Engagement
  • Establish and maintain connections with industry partners to enhance research opportunities and practical learning experiences for students.
