Working at National Textile University Faisalabad since October 2012, current position is Associate Professor, teaching undergraduate and post graduate (MS, PhD) level. Doing research on Wearable monitoring systems, electronic textiles, clothing design and comfort. Have been working for the development of textile-based materials which can be used as electrodes or sensors in the wearable monitoring systems. Worked on the development of electrodes using conductive yarns as well. Have won research funding of around PKR. 20 million, have one international patent, authored 21 peer-reviewed journal articles, contributed in four book chapters and 20 conference publications, have co-edited two international book as well. Fluent in English, Urdu and Punjabi, can speak French as well, experienced in designing and executing research plans/activities.
